Features

The X-Bolt Speed series has earned a reputation as a reliable, straight-shooting hunting rifle designed for precision and durability. These rifles stand out with a barreled action protected by a rugged Cerakote finish, a lightweight composite stock with effective camouflage and a fluted sporter-weight precision barrel. While its striking appearance is eye-catching, true performance is measured in the field, where the Speed rifle consistently delivers the accuracy and reliability hunters demand. For those who seek every advantage, the X-Bolt 2 Speed Carbon Fiber SPR raises the bar in tack-driving accuracy. One of the most significant enhancements is the carbon fiber-wrapped barrel from Preferred Barrels, a result of extensive research and testing to ensure superior quality. Each barrel begins as a precision-bored and button-rifled blank before being stress relieved and wrapped using an advanced carbon fiber process. This method produces a stronger, stiffer barrel compared to lower-quality alternatives that only mimic the look of carbon fiber without the performance benefits. SPR models feature barrels that are four inches shorter than standard lengths for optimal suppressor use. The belled muzzle is threaded for compatibility with commonly used suppressors and muzzle devices, maximizing versatility. To further improve control and reduce felt recoil, the Browning Recoil Hawg muzzle brake provides up to a 76 percent reduction, enabling faster and more accurate follow-up shots. Designed for consistency and precision, the rifle features a bedded action and a free-floated barrel to maintain repeatable accuracy. A Cerakote Tungsten finish enhances durability on the redesigned action and barrel, offering superior protection compared to traditional bluing or stainless steel. The DLX Trigger incorporates a 3-lever design that eliminates creep, take-up and overtravel, delivering a crisp, clean break. It comes factory-set at 3.5 lb and is adjustable down to 3.0 lb for a finely tuned shooting experience. The lightweight Vari-Tech composite stock enhances both adaptability and comfort. Featuring 3-way adjustability and Browning OVIX camouflage for effective concealment across diverse terrains, this stock is engineered for peak performance. The newly designed, thicker Inflex recoil pad efficiently absorbs impact for greater shooting comfort. Its modular design allows for precise comb height adjustments, ensuring perfect alignment with optics, while internal length-of-pull spacers provide a solid, rattle-free fit. The grip angle can be customized by switching between the sporter and vertical grip modules. Rubber overmolding on key grip surfaces improves control in all weather conditions. In hunting, every second matters. A rifle that fits perfectly becomes an extension of the shooter, enabling faster target acquisition, enhanced accuracy and greater confidence in the field. The X-Bolt 2 Speed Carbon Fiber SPR is built for hunters who demand superior performance, delivering cutting-edge innovation and rock-solid reliability when it matters most.
