The CZ Pro Varmint features a robust 16.5-inch barrel threaded at 1/2x28, allowing compatibility with suppressors or other muzzle devices. With a receiver-mounted, push-to-fire safety, the action has been shortened by nearly an inch and slab-sided to minimize both weight and overall size. The stamped bottom metal of the 455 has been replaced by a refined two-piece interlocking system.
